Christmassy Kona Mocha
Ingredients:
1 cup of hot Kona coffee
1 tablespoon of cocoa powder
1 tablespoon of sugar
1/4 cup of milk
Whipped cream
Crushed peppermint candies
Instructions:
Brew your Kona coffee.
While your coffee is brewing, heat milk on the stovetop, and whisk in cocoa powder and sugar. Continue whisking until the mixture is smooth.
Pour the hot coffee in a large cup, top it with your chocolate milk mixture.
Top the mocha with whipped cream, and sprinkle crushed peppermint candies on top.
Kona Coffee Cookies
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons ground Kona coffee
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Cream together your softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
Add the egg and vanilla to your mixture and stir until well combined.
In a separate bowl, combine your flour, ground coffee, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually add your dry ingredients to your wet ingredients, stirring to combine.
Fold in your chocolate chips, then drop spoonfuls of your dough onto a baking sheet.
Bake in your preheated oven for 10-12 minutes.
